The Webbie is ready at a moment’s notice to record High Definition (HD) video and take ultra-sharp 5-megapixel JPEG photos. Seamlessly switch from video recording to still photo capture with the simple press of a button. Or, take advantage of the dual-capture feature that lets you simultaneously capture both motion video and still imagery without the need to switch capture modes so you don’t have to miss catching a special moment again. For optimal video, you can select between different scene modes: Sports, Landscape, Low Light, Backlight and Auto. Using the included USB cable and PMB (Picture Motion Browser) Portable software, connect your camera to a compatible PC or Mac to transfer all of your files for editing and distribution. Using a 16 gigabyte Memory Stick Pro Duo, sold separately, you can record up to 8.5 hours of HD video and thousands of still photos. The camera has 12MB of flash memory built in, which is only enough memory to store a few photos and a few seconds of video. A Memory Stick Pro Duo, sold separately, is necessary and required for normal use of the Webbie HD.

The Sony MHS-PM1 Webbie HD is a pocket sized, cell phone-style camera, and is about 2.3″ wide, 4.2″ tall and less than 1.0″ thick, weighing only 4.2 ounces. Take it wherever you go to get a digital copy of the next holiday, reunion or camping trip It has a 1.8″ LCD screen and a lens that swivels 270 degrees, making “self-shooting” a cinch. Featuring 4X digital zoom, you can capture all the action close-up. A removable, rechargeable battery and plug-in battery charger are included.
