This time, Sony Ericsson’s PDA phone has a super set of features and a good design. It’s still a better PDA than a phone, but it’s a much better phone than the P800 was.
Some Minuses
Speakerphone captation isn’t as good as some others
Software is a bit complex

Technology support: GSM
Full-color TFT display
Camera phone with functions such as flash and zoom
The Sony Ericsson P900 is the successor of the P800, a similar PDA phone that was far from perfect. In this new version, many issues have been resolved. The keypad is much better, there is a still and video camera and a larger display with 65K colors.
But I have to mention that the software has some annoyances. Examples? If you want to switch to speakerphone when starting a call, you press “menu” but then, sometimes the option to select is “7″, other times, it’s “8″ so you have to look everytime. And if the phone displays something new, the menu disappears before you can even press one of these keys. That kind of software weaknesses is one of the only and most important P900 weaknesses, along with the speakerphone’s fair but not excellent performance with regards to transmitting my voice to my interlocutor — I’ve seen better.
On the personalization side, the Sony Ericsson P900 is lovely. From MP3 ringtones to custom graphics, you can make it fit your mood as easily as through direct infrared uploads or wireless web downloads in a free, do-it-yourself way. It comes with some Symbian software such as Opera browser (free download). The P900 also has Bluetooth, a 32MB memory stick for a total of 48MB memory and an excellent battery life. Once you get used to the jogdial, you can really do a lot of things with just one hand.
